Privacy

The short version: I don't track you. I don't sell your data. I don't use cookies. If that's all you needed to know, you're good.

Analytics

This site uses Cloudflare Web Analytics to count page views. It works without cookies, collects no personal information, and can't identify individual visitors. I see totals like "42 people read this post today," not "John from Prague read three posts at 2 AM."

Cloudflare processes this data on my behalf. Their privacy policy covers the details.

Comments

Comments are powered by Utterances, which uses GitHub for authentication. When you leave a comment, you sign in with your GitHub account. Your comment is stored as a GitHub Issue in a public repository.

I don't control GitHub's data handling. Their privacy statement applies. If you want a comment removed, you can delete the GitHub issue yourself or email me and I'll take care of it.

Fonts

Fonts are self-hosted on this site. No third-party font services are used, so no data is shared with external providers when fonts load.

Theme preference

The light/dark theme toggle saves your choice in your browser's local storage. This is not a cookie. It never leaves your browser and is never sent to any server.

Your rights

You're in control. Under GDPR (and because it's the right thing to do), you can:

  • Access what data exists about you (spoiler: almost none)
  • Delete your comments via GitHub or by asking me
  • Object to any processing
  • Complain to a supervisory authority if you think I'm doing something wrong

Since I don't collect personal data through analytics, there's not much to request. But if you have questions, reach out.

I'll update this page if anything changes. The site doesn't use cookies, and I intend to keep it that way.
